If you're looking to escape the cold and head somewhere warm for the holidays, there is nowhere like ocean-front Delray Beach Florida! Each Christmas season people in the know head to Delray Beach, The Village by the Sea. Delray Beach is known as an adult playground - but there are many family-friendly activities in downtown Delray Beach during the holidays, and year-round!

Delray Beach is an award-winning destination known for:

  • Atlantic Avenue, the main street and heart of downtown Delray Beach
  • friendly, walkable downtown hotels, shops and dining options
  • world-class beaches
  • a mix of innovative, trendy, renowned and Floridian bars, restaurants, and diners
  • a safe, fun nightlife
  • family-friendly atmosphere and activities

Who best to ask for insider tips on what to do, where to go and what to see in Delray Beach than a local? Not only is my digital marketing business MacManda Media located in Delray Beach, I live there too! As a Boston native who escaped the frigid winters to enjoy year-round sunshine and the beach life, I love Delray!

Downtown Delray Beach is a popular destination for adults - but families love it to! While it sounds obvious that the kids will love going to the beach every day, even kids can get tired of all day, every day at the beach. Sure you can - and should! walk Atlantic Avenue with the kids and sample the kid-friendly restaurants, ice cream shops and candy stores. But there is more to do in Delray Beach than eat and beach! Here are my favorite things to do with the kids in downtown Delray Beach during the holidays - that don't require a car!
